Surplus fabric? Maybe because these shorts are tough! Super well constructed and overbuilt to handle quite a bit of abuse. Desert camo is a criminally underused pattern ao they've got unique flair too. Also note these aren't super thick so they're great for hot weather and won't give you swamp ass.
